I have a near obsession with sound. Recording it, Editing it, Teaching it and talking about it. I mainly focus on where I can make the biggest difference to people’s projects, the location Sound Recordist because it adds the most value for capturing the emotion of the dialogue.
Location sound is where I add the most value because it’s capturing the performances and emotion from the actual shoot. My experience taking shoots from pre production through to final mix means I can also solve any issues or provide solutions to how to achieve your vision in the next stage of post production.
Post Production is then where I can take things to the next level. This can go from being just be cleaning up interviews right through to managing a my crew for feature films.
I’ve worked on over 400 projects ranging from feature length, shorts, creative content, 360 video, binaural content, commercials, documentaries, music recording, Sound Recordist, VO recording, ADR recording, Sound editing, Sound Designing, Radio and much more.
The key to this is tailoring my experience to your project. I can name drop for a while at least as I’ve been privileged and entrusted to record some great people and often oversee projects from location right through to the final mix.
Use the tab at the top left of this video to select over 60 projects I’ve managed to find online.

Though having all the bells and whistles like £3,500 digital shotguns with build in noise reduction and a 12 channel mixer, recorder covering me for most eventualities, filming and creating is a very social experience, often spending more time with a given set of people in a few days more than we do with our spouses sometimes!
