Definition: Anti-Aliasing Filter

by Matt Price on December 10, 2013
[hana-code-insert name='Responsive Ad' /] Anti-Aliasing Filter This filter stops Aliasing frequencies by using a low pass brick wall filter (only lets in frequencies below threshold) to prevent frequencies above the threshold of human hearing (20-24kHz) that go over the Nyquist Frequency. This then stops mis sampling of higher harmonics which would be introduced as aliasing distortion. [hana-code-insert name='Search Encourage' /]
